Fatherhood is one of those remarkable happenings in life that truly exposes a man to himself; his roots grow ever deeper and he roots himself and his child and his family in the gentle caress of protection – the branches of his love grow in perfect symmetry with his roots and the roots of his family: extending ever out of him and his willingness to sacrifice himself for his child and for his child’s safety; there is a love and a bond there that he has never before encountered or even dared dream could be experienced, and his child is shrouded and protected in this love and in this bond eternal.
